Found this on Craigslist for $30 and a lot closer than the Pit Bull - worth seeing? It appears my spools are 14 1/2" apart so it might work.

That should work just fine. It's worth mentioning that the higher the stand is, the more force it requires to lift. I had a heck of a time lifting my busa with stock exhaust on the Pit Bull forward handle. After raising the stand a quarter inch, it was damned near impossible for me. I think that 13.75" will be about the same as the Pit Bull but if it's too high to get good leverage, you could always put an inch thick piece of wood under the rear wheel.

I bought the Pit Bull and it works fine - seems well made so it should last longer than me, which is not saying much.

Good choice. You're talking $20 bucks for a much stronger stand.
